Industry veteran Carolos Tomazos has had an illustrious career in hospitality management internationally and in New York and Los Angeles having worked with the likes of Chefs Alain Ducasse, Thomas Keller and Eric Ripert.

ELA, meaning ‘come over’ in Greek, is an homage to his heritage and comfort home cooking he and his family would share with loved ones. As the first casual space for Carolos, we wanted to illustrate the thoughtfulness of this concept as an extension of the food shared amongst good friends while also highlighting the craft and heritage elements behind his menu.

We worked closely with Carolos and his wife Sarah, and would immerse ourselves in conversation, talking through the inspiration and ingredients at the heart of ELA’s story. This partnership is a model for how we customize the process for each client, so that what we develop together mirrors their personality, creative style, and taste.
